pockyheart asked: Hi there, my name's Tammy and I wanted to get your opinion on the GCM program at Ryerson. I'm interested in taking the program in September but I'm torn between going to Ryerson or just going to a traditional graphic design program.
Here’s the misconception of GCM. GCM is not a graphic design program. So If you’re interested in Graphic design, I don’t suggest you take this program.
This is exactly what its named. This is a graphic communications management program. We learn management, how different printers work, design to some extent, and prepress/premedia work , and also binding ( like books and magazines. ).
Hope that helped!
